November Sun

My friend Glenn came over today to do some shooting. I had a few errands to run, plus get my girls at 4pm. But I think we can say that we did get out there. The sun was nice for a time being but we were not really set up in a known location to take advantage. Here are a couple I got from today.

What a rough Fall

There has been a string of bad news in our family. While wanting to crawl under a rock so no one could find me I was invited out to do some shooting. I was told by some very important people that if I didn't get my butt out there they would extremley disappointed. Plus I hadn't seen Glenn in some time so off I went to Minden.

All my sad energy was channelled into my photos and I think I came home with a few favorites.

Yes More Photo(pixel) painting.

I am building my portfolio and offered a 24 hour window to email me pictures and I would paint them but would be allowed to print the befores and afters for my portfolio. The response was really good and I have about 15 pictures to paints. Here are a few I have completed.

Update and a Milestone

I have not been out with the camera for several several weeks...ok months! I have been so busy with trying to keep to my schedule that I haven't been taking any time for me. So no recent great shots to post. BUT...for my 40th birthday...yes I just turned 40 and had the best birthday ever. Started with a limo picking up me and my girls to take us to hair appointments...then back home to a decorated house with about 50 people and food food food.

One of the great gifts I got was a bamboo Fun Tablet...and I have been playing with it...getting ready for a painting workshop I am going to next weekend. The first is a picture of the beautiful colour along highway 35 near Dorset. The second is a picture of my daughter at our lake.
